History of Larkings
Larkings was founded in 1888 by Charles Larking who was joined in Partnership by his sons Roland and Gordon and later by his grandson Peter. Other partners joined, and more offices opened such that we now have a power base in Kent which serves clients in Kent, South East England and further afield. Some of the values which Charles Larking laid down in 1888 still survive in the firm over 100 years later; a need to view clients as individuals and cater for their individual needs; a need to provide a personal service.

Other values have developed over the years as changing demands of clients have necessitated changing responses from our partners and staff. The ever changing world of business and finance is considerably more complex than 100 or even 10 years ago, and the proven ability to change to provide for needs of the 21st Century is, in our view essential in staying ahead of the competition - We need that as do our clients!
